Adding a co-op feature to game

Recommended Posts

Adding a bigger map with more resources and two starting points/district centers. You control one and your friend controls the other and you have to build up your settlements separately and build a way to each other where then you can share resources and build together. It would have to be played online on one save file so either person can access it and work on it at any time without having to wait for the other person to log on and play. You would just be able to invite your friend to your game through steam.

There have been other games that allow you to host a game either locally from your PC or from a server, so either method should be allowed and viable.

I'm not sure if an invite from Steam feature would be worth the effort, though (depends on a few things like if they are or are planning to sell the game via methods other than Steam, whether or not such a feature can cause issues with non-Steam players, etc).  TBH, of the games I've played with a multiplayer component, they don't have an invite from Steam feature and seem to do pretty well without it.
