Hi, How do you prioritise beavers to fill the water storages? After my first droughts they just never fill up again even though there is enough workers.

Hey there ~

I believe you can do so by selecting the water tank, then clicking "Prioritise building by haulers" near the top of the information window, provided you do have beavers set to haul things around - from idle harvest buildings, like lumberjack flags, if the option is ticked on, or from hauling posts that you can build.

The June 28 advice only works once you have built a hauling post.  There is no way to prioritize hauling to/from a building until these are built.   You can prioritize construction and assignment of a worker to a building from the beginning of the game but water tanks don't have a worker.

A beaver in a water pump will fill a water tank in his spare time.  He has no spare time when you get to 20+ beavers per pump.  The tanks are best put very near the pump as haulage is limited at first.

Until you have a hauling post, the district center must do all of the construction and hauling duties.  Other beavers can haul if they are idle, like lumberjacks with no trees to cut.  If you are not getting enough haulage, ensure that the district center is full with 4 beavers, then build a hauling post.
