I've got about 100 hours in the game and thought I'd share a couple of things that I thought would make excellent (and cheap) QoL improvements

- Shortcut keys for everything (there's a mod that does some of this but would be better to go further and have it natively in the game)
- "Build copy" button & shortcut - If I have a building selected pressing this button (or key) is a quick way to place a copy. Used very effectively in ONI and Factorio
- Copy/apply settings if I want to copy settings from eg warehouse and apply to another
