Can Blueberry bushes be demolished?  Can Blueberry bushes be grown elsewhere?

Yes, they can. You can uproot and destroy them from the Demolish (Destroy?) submenu, and planting can be found under Food - for which you will need a Forester.

So I can uproot them but when I plant new bushes at a Farm House the furrows show up but no bushes.

I believe it is Foresters that plant bushes. Also, I was wrong about the panel to search for, since berries are found under "Plant trees and bushes". Glad you found them still.
