John_b
I created a new map, I call the Amazon River. I hope you enjoy and lots of greenery and gems in my river The_Amazon_River 256x256.timber Edited February 5 by John_b

Silver
Cool idea, but the map floods too often, it's pretty impossible to build a damn early without a bunch of levees everywhere. It still needs some work.
gerryw
No, it is fine. I am playing this map with Folktails in normal mode. The idea is to get away from the terrible start area and go to the high ground asap. There is no need to make any more than the minimum infrastructure to make a single stair, then move everything. There are mega trees in the upper area, no need for a forester for a long time. The oxbow lake to the north is perfect for agriculture as it has barriers at both ends and stays green in the drought. The only issue I have found is I can't at this point find a place for decent water wheels so I am going with hamster wheels. This map would be perfect for the Ironteeth engines. There are plenty of berries at the start too. The first pic below is from when I was partially moved to the upper area. The second is fully moved and the original area abandoned.
