Forever Homeless Beaver

I noticed that I had a beaver that likes to sleep on their grass mat even though I had 5 houses and room for 2 more residents. 

Unrelated to the above: I also had a beaver die of hunger (wanted bread I guess) even though I had other food sources available.

I think a house can hold 2 adults and 1 child.  Maybe your houses just had child slots?
