MasterChief 0
I haven't seen this idea suggested, but I may have missed it. It would be nice if it were possible to set job priority for each building/position. Once the settlement begins to expand to 25+ beavers it gets to be a lot of work jockeying workers back and forth to what's needed most at that time because the only way to do it is to reduce the workforce or pause a building. It would be awesome if there was a list of tasks/jobs that could be reordered by dragging and dropping. For instance I could have the list ordered such as: Water Pump Forester Hauling Post Farmhouse Lumberjack Inventors Hut Then when dry season comes around I could open the job que and reorder the jobs and the beavers will fill the open slots based on the priority and availability of workers. This system could also help prevent catastrophe if the water supply is used up before the end of the drought and beavers start to die of thirst. That way if the water pump workers die, the beavers will reprioritize getting more workers to the pumps, rather than filling unimportant jobs and all dehydriding when they could have saved some of the colony. Let me know what you guys think! Maybe this idea is a moot point if the devs want the gameplay to involve shuffling positions back and forth.
